Veronika and Aleš exchanged their vows at the The Old Post Office complex, a building that dates back to the Napoleonic Wars (and has a cannonball from that era embedded in its wall). I’ve been here several times and always enjoy coming back, because it’s the ideal venue for a wedding.
The buildings are quite far from cities; we’re actually right by the road in the fields, so there’s no one to disturb. And everything is ready here, from the garden house for the ceremony, to the covered areas for the outdoor reception, to the surrounding grounds, which can be used for photos if you don’t feel like driving somewhere else. We did drive to a nearby pond for that purpose, but we also have photos from the area around The Post Office.
The weather was on our side, and everything turned out great, as you can see in the photos.
Once again, I’m including a few black-and-white shots in the selection just for variety, but the newlyweds always receive the same photos from me in color as well.
